Here’s what you do in the car
If you’re on a long drive,
you can always rub their shoulders. Softly and gently.
AS not to distract from their driving. It will help keep them
alert and focused on the road. Remember your well being is at steak too.
Play the license plate game.
What I do is take the letters on the plate and make a sentence out of them. Like 49 DHF to me = 49 Dead Head Fans. If you can use terms of love toward your partner. I thing more psychologist’s should use this system for telling what the subject is really thinking. If you have some one do it with a time limit. You will see just where their mind is. It has helped keep me awake for years now and is fun with 2 or more people playing. See what each one comes up with for the same letters.
Take a road trip.
Just the two of you. If your car is to small to sleep in. Rent one that is like a van or SUV. Drive a while then after dinner find some place to stop and
sleep. In the van. That way you wake to new scenes every day. It could
just be a weekend trip. Leave out on Friday night and come back on
Sunday afternoon.
Keep a picture of your honey inside the car all the time. Tape it to the dash board or some where that you see often. If you don’t drive put it in a special place that only you know about.
Put something that your sweetie gave you in your car and think of them every time you see it. And tell them the good things that you think of when you see it. Make sure it is up lifting, inspirational, and from a heart filled with love.
In this electronic age.
Most of us have the ability to burn a music CD. If you can. Burn a mix of y'all’s favorite love songs and name it “ours”. Keep one in each car. Make them different if you can.
Meet your sweetheart for lunch
and have a picnic in the back seat of the car. Be sure you have everything. Napkins, tray, flowers, drinks, meal, silverware, glasses and your CD. Spend the quality time together. This will be remembered for a long time to come. If you believe in karma. This should bring you lot’s.
Go on a trip together
without leaving home. And no I am not talking about drugs. Sit in your
parked car whether it is in in your driveway or in the garage. Both of
you close your eyes and one at a time describe the trip you are taking.
Go into detail. What is the weather like? Is it hot or cold? Is it city
or countryside? What are the roads like? Are there people around? Are
there any animals? DETAILS. DETAILS. DETAILS. Trade off to make it a
family trip. Made just for the two of you.
Wash your car in
your bathing suits. Use as much suds as possible. Get as many suds on
your lover as you can. Go ahead and act like the kids you are on the
inside. Just have fun while getting the car and each other clean.
Make a treasure map
for you love one. Take a map of your area and map out a route that will take them to shops, friends house and maybe a restaurant. Where they will pick up prepaid items to bring with them to your rendezvous spot. Don’t get upset if it takes them a bit longer that you thought it should. Maybe you can read a map better than they can. But it is the trying that counts. They may even call you for directions. Enjoy.
